Colocasia esculenta Royal Hawaiian® ‘Hawaiian Punch’

Royal Hawaiian® Hawaiian Punch, introduced in 2012, is another successful hybrid from Hawaiian hybridizer John Cho. The architecture of this colocase is well balanced, making it an ideal candidate for growing in large containers, flowerbeds and water gardens. Its reddish stems add a highly decorative element to its large, glossy leaves, veined with red at the back. The plant is well connected at the base, robust and disease-resistant. This compact colocase can reach 80 to 100 cm (32 to 39 in.) in height and width. Colocase can be grown in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil.
