Feathery asparagus

Native to South Africa, this herbaceous plant is grown as an annual in our climate. It forms an evergreen bush. Its great decorative value lies in its fine, feathery foliage. Feather asparagus needs rich soil, so a good compost is beneficial. It’s best grown in part shade, but the plant can tolerate sun. The plant is very vigorous and can reach 45 to 60 cm in height. Aggressive and vaporous.
