Alocasia ‘Tiny Dancers’
2009 International Aroid Society Award
In 2009, this plant won the prize for most unusual aroid at the International Aroid Society’s annual exhibition. The tiny dancers of Elton John’s song, “Tiny Dancers”, are in fact its shiny green, cup-shaped leaves that transport us into an imaginary world. Small, they only reach 30 to 35 cm in length. Even in its early stages of growth, ‘Tiny Dancers’ is magnificent on the terrace or as a centerpiece in a decorative pot. It can take center stage on its own or with complementary plants such as succulents. The plant, which has good basal branching, can reach 30-35 cm in height. Finesse and lightness.
