Alocasia ‘Sumo’

Alocasia ‘Sumo’ is a cross between alocasia ‘Portora’ and the premier alocasia ‘Purple Cloak’ (Alocasia princeps ‘Purple Cloak’), which produces large, dark-green leaves with a bronze tinge and purplish veins on the back. Its colors become more defined as the plant matures. Dark purple petioles add great charm to this tropical plant, which can reach 1.2 to 1.3 m in height and 90 to 110 cm in width.
