Alocase odorante, a classic!

The name of the species, , evokes the sweet smell given off by the flower of this alocase, especially at night. English speakers call it the “night-scented lily”. If you want to create a “guaranteed jungle effect”, opt for the lush foliage of alocase odorante. Its medium-green, heart-shaped, wavy leaves point skyward. They can measure up to 40 cm in length and 30 cm in width. When young, the leaves are lime-green and shiny. This plant can reach 60 to 80 cm in height, and its basal multiplication is significant. The plant is native to East and Southeast Asia.
