Alocasia macrorrhizos ‘Metallica’

The upper surface of the leaves is dark greenish-purple, a lovely dark hue that gives them an almost metallic appearance. The silvery-purple underside contrasts well with the purple veins. The petiole is burgundy. Mature leaves are bumpy and wavy, giving this alocase an incredibly rich look. The plant can reach 90 to 120 cm in height. It prefers a shady site or a subdued light position. Shimmering light.
