Alocasia ‘Golden Dragon’

This hybrid between the large-rooted alocase ‘Lutea’ (‘Lutea’) and the alocase ‘Sarian’ (‘Sarian’) has inherited the best aspects of both its parents: beautiful spring-green leaves with a midrib and veins that turn golden yellow with age, burgundy-speckled stems against a yellow background and, last but not least, its prehistoric-looking, sharply-cut leaves.
