Alocasia gageana ‘California’

An ideal balance.

This stubby alocase is highly original. California’ can reach 70 to 80 cm in height. Its soft green leaves, with green veins, are around 35 to 40 cm wide. This plant is a smaller version of ‘Calidora’, being ideal in shape and size for balancing arrangements in medium-sized containers and confined spaces. The species name honors the English botanist Sir Thomas Gage (1781-1820), who was a collector of rare European plants.
