Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale’
The leaves of this alocase, whose selection name literally translates as dragon scale because of its resemblance to a reptilian scale, have an incredible shimmering, veined texture. With age, the leaf’s hues become light green with a mirror effect and silvery reflections between the veins. The space around the veins is green-black. The dominant leaf color is green-black.
The leaf margin has a dark green edge, giving it an original texture. The creamy-green underside of the leaves is criss-crossed with prominent brown veins, providing a very marked contrast. This plant has a tendency to retain a compact shape. Finally, it is an excellent candidate for indoor cultivation under indirect light, away from direct sunlight. This plant can easily reach a height of 40 cm. Prehistoric appearance.
