Zantedeschia aethiopica ‘White Giant’

It is considered a wetland plant like cannas, papyrus and sedges. It does, however, tolerate cultivation in the open ground and in containers, especially in summer when it needs less water, as it does in its dry-season habitat. Its shiny, dark-green leaves, sagittate and speckled with white, are borne on a long, erect stalk. Delicately fragrant inflorescences emerge well above the foliage. They form a large, upright, flaring white spathe with a yellow spadix. The plant can reach 50 to 70 cm in height. This plant can be grown in sun or part-shade. It grows rapidly.
