Alocasia boa
A very slender silhouette.
This rather rare species is native to New Guinea. It’s a medium-sized alocase that’s very similar to Lauterbach’s alocase, with large, upright leaves and a distinctive decorative appearance. Its long, narrow green leaves are deeply serrated and contrast well with its long, sturdy stems, spotted like a snakeskin. The plant, which can be grown in semi-shade or full sun, produces numerous offshoots and can reach 80 to 100 cm in height.
